  • 1 medium Yellow Onion
  • 1 cup Fine Bread Crumbs
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground Pepper
  • 1/2 cup Ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Brown Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Yellow Mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet or casserole dish with foil or parchment.
  2. Combine the ground beef, onions, breadcrumbs, soaked milk, and beaten eggs in a large mixing bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf, about 9-10 inches long, and place it on the prepared pan.
  4. Prepare the glaze by whisking together ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard in a separate bowl. Spread it generously over the top of the meatloaf.
  5. Bake the meatloaf for 55-70 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C). Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
