- 1 pound Ground Beef
- 1 medium Yellow Onion
- 1 cup Fine Bread Crumbs
- 1 large Egg
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Ground Pepper
- 1/2 cup Ketchup
- 1 tablespoon Brown Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Yellow Mustard
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet or casserole dish with foil or parchment.
- Combine the ground beef, onions, breadcrumbs, soaked milk, and beaten eggs in a large mixing bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf, about 9-10 inches long, and place it on the prepared pan.
- Prepare the glaze by whisking together ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard in a separate bowl. Spread it generously over the top of the meatloaf.
- Bake the meatloaf for 55-70 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C). Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
