  • ½ cup pizza sauce
  • 1 to cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Black olives, green peppers, or pepperoni (for decorating)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (optional, for brushing crust)
  • Green bell pepper slice (for the pumpkin “stem”)
  • Optional toppings: cheddar cheese, red onion, mushrooms, sweetcorn

Instructions

  1. Prep the dough: Roll out pizza dough on a floured surface. Use a pumpkin-shaped cookie cutter or cut freehand to create pumpkin shapes. Re-roll scraps as needed.
  2. Add toppings: Place pumpkins on a parchment-lined baking tray. Spread each with a little pizza sauce and sprinkle with mozzarella.
  3. Decorate faces: Use olives, peppers, or pepperoni to create jack-o’-lantern faces.
  4. Add a stem: Place a green bell pepper slice at the top of each for a pumpkin stem.
  5. Brush & bake: Brush crust with egg wash or olive oil. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 12–15 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
  6. Cool & serve: Let cool slightly and enjoy warm!
