- 1 block (14 oz) extra-firm tofu, pressed and cubed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons tahini
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh mint
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the cubed tofu, olive oil, lemon juice, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, cayenne, salt, and black pepper. Toss to coat the tofu evenly.
- Thread the marinated tofu cubes onto skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.
- Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Grill the tofu kebabs for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the tofu is lightly charred and heated through.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the tahini, water, lemon juice, and garlic to make a tahini sauce.
- Arrange the grilled tofu kebabs on a serving platter and drizzle with the tahini sauce. Sprinkle with the chopped parsley and mint.
