- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1 large egg
- 1/3 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Optional: 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, garlic, parsley, oregano, onion, egg, breadcrumbs, lemon zest, salt, and pepper.
- Mix gently until just combined; do not overmix.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into patties.
- Press a slight indentation in the center of each patty.
- Heat a grill or skillet over medium heat and lightly oil it.
- Cook patties for 5-6 minutes per side or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
