Description

Golden, flaky mango pastry turnovers filled with sweet mango jam.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1/3 cup mango jam or preserve
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • All-purpose flour, for dusting
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons crushed nuts (optional, such as cashews or almonds)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Lightly flour a surface and unfold puff pastry. Cut into 4 equal squares.
  3. Place 1 tablespoon of mango jam in the center of each square. Add a sprinkle of nuts if using.
  4. Fold each square into a triangle. Press edges with a fork to seal and cut a small slit on top.
  5. Brush tops with egg wash and transfer to the baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 15–18 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
  7. Let cool slightly. Dust with powdered sugar if desired and serve warm.
