A delicious low-carb twist on the classic Philly cheesesteak, this casserole is packed with savory beef, creamy cheese, and sautéed vegetables.

- 2 lbs ground beef (80/20 fat ratio preferred)
- 1 large onion, diced
- 2 large bell peppers (green, red, or mixed), diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened to room temperature
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 oz provolone cheese, sliced
- 1.5 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
- Add onion, bell peppers, and garlic to the skillet. Sauté until vegetables are tender, about 5-6 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper until smooth. Stir in half of the mozzarella cheese.
- Combine the cream cheese mixture with the beef and vegetable mixture in the skillet.
- Transfer to a greased baking dish. Top with provolone and remaining mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and golden.
