- ½ cup bacon, crispy and crumbled
- ⅓ cup green onion, chopped
- homemade or store bought ranch sauce, for drizzling and dipping
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup milk
- 1 Tablespoon cornstarch
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ¼ teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Follow the package instructions for the 32 ounces frozen French fries and bake as directed until crispy.
- While that is baking, make the cheese sauce and prepare the other toppings, like chopping the bacon and green onion.
- Once the fries are baked, assemble the loaded fries while they’re still hot.
- Top them with hot cheese sauce as desired, reserving some for dipping.
- Sprinkle on the bacon and green onions, then drizzle with ranch sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve warm.
- In a small saucepan, whisk together milk, cornstarch, kosher salt, and dry mustard.
- Bring to a simmer on medium-low, stirring frequently, for 5-6 minutes until thickened.
- Reduce heat to low and add shredded cheddar cheese gradually, stirring until melted.

- Feel free to customize toppings as desired.
- If ranch is too thick, add a splash of milk.
