Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb Sirloin steak (cut into 1-inch cubes)
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- 2 tablespoons Unsalted butter
- 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 1 whole Lemon (zest and juice)
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- For garnish: Fresh parsley (chopped)
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon Fresh dill (chopped)
- 1 tablespoon Fresh parsley (chopped)
- 1 tablespoon Fresh chives (chopped)
- 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Gather all your ingredients. Cut the sirloin steak into 1-inch cubes and mince the garlic. Zest and juice the lemon, and chop the fresh herbs for garnishing and the yogurt sauce.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the cubed steak and season with salt and pepper. Sear the steak for about 2-3 minutes on each side until it reaches your desired doneness.
- Add the minced garlic to the pan. Stir vigorously for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Then, pour in the lemon juice and zest.
- Reduce the heat to low and add the unsalted butter. Let it melt and gently toss the steak cubes to coat them evenly.
- In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, chopped dill, parsley, chives, and lemon juice. Mix well, then season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Spoon the steak cubes onto a plate, drizzling the lemon butter sauce over the top.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with the herb yogurt sauce on the side or drizzled over the steak.
