This KFC coleslaw copycat recipe recreates the creamy, tangy crunch of the original.
Ingredients

- 1 small head green cabbage, finely chopped
- 2 medium carrots, shredded or finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons finely minced onion
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup buttermilk
- 1/4 cup whole milk
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 tablespoons white vinegar
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Finely chop the cabbage and carrots, and mince the onion. Use a food processor for best texture but do not over-process.
- In a large bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, buttermilk, milk, sugar, vinegar, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Add chopped cabbage, carrots, and onion to the bowl and mix thoroughly to coat all vegetables evenly.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow the flavors to blend and the slaw to chill.
- Before serving, stir the coleslaw well and adjust seasoning if needed. Serve cold.

- Best served cold.
- Can be made a day in advance for better flavor.
