Easy Homemade Kashmiri Pink Chai is a creamy, aromatic traditional tea known for its beautiful blush color and gently savory-sweet flavor.
Ingredients

- 2 tablespoons Kashmiri green tea leaves
- 4 cups cold water
- ¼ teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup cold milk
- Salt, to taste
- Sugar, to taste
- 2 green cardamom pods, lightly crushed
- 1 small cinnamon stick
- 2 cloves
- Crushed pistachios
- Crushed almonds
Instructions
- Add Kashmiri green tea leaves, cold water, and baking soda to a saucepan.
- Bring to a boil, then simmer 20–30 minutes until liquid reduces and turns deep red.
- Aerate the tea by scooping and pouring it back into the pot several times.
- Add cardamom, cinnamon stick, and cloves.
- Slowly pour in cold milk and stir gently as the tea turns pink.
- Season with salt and sugar to taste.
- Simmer gently for 5–7 minutes.
- Strain into cups, garnish with crushed nuts, and serve hot.
