Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sausages and brown on all sides for 7–8 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add sliced onions and bell peppers. Cook for about 5 minutes until softened and lightly caramelized. Add garlic and sauté another minute.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Return sausages to the pan, cover, and simmer for 15–20 minutes until everything is tender and flavorful.
- Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve over pasta, rice, or on hoagie rolls for sandwiches.
