- For the Brownies:
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- ¼ cup dark cocoa powder
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons instant espresso powder
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon table salt
- ¼ teaspoon baking powder
- ¾ cup all purpose flour
- For the Coffee Frosting:
- 3 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
- 1 ½ teaspoons instant coffee granules
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, softened
- ⅛ teaspoon salt
- 1 ¾ cup powdered sugar
- For the Chocolate Topping:
- ½ cup dark chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
- In a bowl, mix butter, cocoa, sugar, espresso, eggs, vanilla, salt, and baking powder.
- Fold in flour until just combined.
- Pour batter into the pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Cool brownies completely.
- For frosting, whip cream, coffee granules, butter, and salt; gradually add powdered sugar.
- Spread frosting over cooled brownies.
- Melt chocolate chips with cream, then drizzle over frosting.
- Cut into squares and serve.
