- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 cup flour (for dredging)

- 8 oz mushrooms (sliced)
- 1 cup Marsala wine (sweet or dry)
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Dredge each breast in flour to coat evenly.
- Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté mushrooms for 2-3 minutes. Add Marsala wine and chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the pan. Simmer for 5 minutes to reduce the sauce.
- Return chicken to the skillet, spoon some sauce over the top, and simmer for 5 minutes to let the flavors meld together.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with your favorite sides, like garlic mashed potatoes or roasted vegetables.

- Don’t overcook the chicken; sear until golden but keep it moist.
- Reduce the sauce to concentrate flavors. Cook longer for a thicker sauce.
