Ingredients

- 100 g Butter (at room temperature for easy mixing)
- 90 g Sugar (white)
- 175 g Flour (all-purpose)
- 2 tsp Vanilla powder or Vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp Baking powder (to help the cookies rise slightly)
- 3 tbsp Honey (or 2 tbsp golden syrup for that sweet, sticky goodness)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (356℉).
- Cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
- Combine all the ingredients to form a soft dough.
- Divide the dough into 3 equal portions.
- Shape each portion into a roll and place on a lined baking tray.
- Flatten the rolls slightly for even baking.
- Bake for 12-14 minutes or until golden brown around the edges.
- Slice the warm cookies diagonally for easier handling.
- Cool completely on a wire rack before serving.
