- 8 slices thick-cut brioche bread
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
- Fresh strawberries, sliced
- Fresh blueberries
- Powdered sugar
- Maple syrup
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix softened butter, honey, and cream cheese until smooth.
- Spread the mixture onto half the brioche slices, then top with remaining slices to form sandwiches. Cut each sandwich into 3 sticks.
- In a shallow dish, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Dip each stick into the egg mixture, letting it soak briefly on both sides.
- Heat a nonstick skillet or griddle over medium heat and grease lightly. Cook sticks until golden brown on all sides, about 2–3 minutes per side.
- Serve warm with fresh berries, powdered sugar, and a drizzle of maple syrup.
