Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 2 to 3 tablespoons honey or maple syrup, to taste
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 3 tablespoons grass-fed gelatin powder
Instructions
- Add the sliced strawberries to a blender or food processor and blend until completely smooth.
- If you want a smoother gummy texture, pour the purée through a fine mesh sieve into a small saucepan to remove seeds.
- Add the lemon juice and honey or maple syrup to the purée in the saucepan. Heat over low to medium heat while stirring constantly.
- Slowly sprinkle the gelatin over the warm mixture while whisking continuously to prevent clumping.
- Use a dropper or small spoon to carefully pour the mixture into silicone gummy bear molds.
- Transfer the molds to the refrigerator and chill for at least 30 minutes, or until the gummies are fully set.
- Gently pop the gummies out of the molds and store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
