- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 teaspoons rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 to 2 teaspoons sriracha or chili sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon Chinese five-spice powder
- 2 to 3 tablespoons water (as needed for consistency)
Instructions
- Measure all ingredients before starting.
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, peanut butter, honey, rice vinegar, garlic powder, sriracha, sesame oil, and five-spice powder.
- Whisk everything together until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
- Add 1 tablespoon of water at a time, whisking between additions, until the sauce reaches your desired consistency.
- Taste the sauce and adjust to your preference: add more honey for sweetness, vinegar for tang, or chili sauce for heat.
- Transfer to a jar and refrigerate. Stir before using if any separation occurs.
