- 1 pound ground sausage
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup Velveeta cheese, cubed
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tablespoons chopped green onions, for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the ground sausage over medium heat until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess grease and set aside.
- In a saucepan or microwave-safe bowl, combine the cream cheese, Velveeta, and cheddar cheese. Heat slowly, stirring until fully melted and smooth.
- Stir in the sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and optional red pepper flakes. Mix until fully combined.
- Add the cooked sausage to the cheese mixture and stir until evenly incorporated.
- Pour the mixture into an oven-safe dish.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20 minutes, until bubbly and slightly golden on top.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot with chips, veggies, or crackers.
