- 1–2 tablespoons milk
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and lemon juice. Mix until smooth and creamy.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out puff pastry sheets and cut into equal squares.
- Place pastry squares on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Spoon cream cheese filling into the center of each square.
- Fold corners slightly toward the center or leave open for a classic Danish shape.
- Whisk egg with water and brush over pastry edges.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
