Description

Sweet and savory Hawaiian ham and cheese sliders, perfect for parties.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (12-count) package Hawaiian rolls
  • 1216 slices deli ham
  • 810 slices Swiss cheese
  • 4 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar (optional)
  • 1 tsp poppy seeds (optional)
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the entire sheet of Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, keeping them connected. Place the bottoms in a baking dish.
  2. Add an even layer of ham, then Swiss cheese. Place the top layer of rolls back on.
  3. In a small bowl, stir together the melted butter, Dijon, Worcestershire, brown sugar, poppy seeds, garlic powder, and salt.
  4. Pour or brush the buttery glaze all over the tops so it drips into all the nooks and crannies.
  5. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake another 8–10 minutes, until golden and melty.
  6. Let cool slightly, then slice and serve warm.

Notes

  • Feel free to add more ham for extra meatiness.
  • Brown sugar enhances the sweetness.
  • Poppy seeds add a nice touch but are optional.
