- 4 medium ripe avocados
- 2 or 3 medium tomatoes
- 1 red onion
- 1 handful of fresh cilantro
- Juice of 2 or 3 limes
- Tabasco to taste
Instructions
- Peel and pit the avocados.
- Mash the avocado in a bowl with a fork, keeping some chunks for texture.
- Peel and deseed the tomatoes, then dice them finely.
- Finely dice the red onion.
- Mix tomatoes and onion into the mashed avocado, saving some for garnish.
- Squeeze lime juice over the mixture and add Tabasco to taste.
- Stir to combine all ingredients well.
- Chop the cilantro finely and mix it in.
- Serve in a bowl topped with reserved tomatoes and onion if desired.
