- 8 ounces ground pork
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1/2 cup shredded carrots
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 16 spring roll wrappers
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground pork, cabbage, carrots, green onions, garlic, soy sauce, and black pepper. Mix well until fully incorporated.
- Lay a spring roll wrapper on a flat surface in a diamond shape. Place about 2-3 tablespoons of the pork mixture onto the lower third of the wrapper.
- Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll tightly into a cylinder.
- In a large skillet or Dutch oven, heat 2-3 inches of vegetable oil to 350°F.
- Carefully add the spring rolls to the hot oil and fry for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove the fried spring rolls from the oil and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
