- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat dry.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter until foamy but not browned.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about one minute until fragrant (do not let it brown).
- Place the shrimp in a single layer in the skillet and cook for 2–3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.
- Squeeze lemon juice over the cooked shrimp and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
- Serve immediately, drizzling any remaining garlic butter sauce over the top.
