Description

Garlic Butter Shrimp is a quick and delectable seafood dish that marries succulent shrimp with a rich garlic butter sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat dry.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter until foamy but not browned.
  3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about one minute until fragrant (do not let it brown).
  4. Place the shrimp in a single layer in the skillet and cook for 2–3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.
  5. Squeeze lemon juice over the cooked shrimp and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
  6. Serve immediately, drizzling any remaining garlic butter sauce over the top.
