Indulge in tender lamb chops drenched in a rich garlic butter sauce, perfect for any gathering or cozy dinner at home.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 bone-in lamb chops (1 inch thick)
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 minced garlic cloves
- 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients on a clean surface.
- Generously sprinkle both sides of each lamb chop with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Once melted and bubbling, add the lamb chops and sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Remove the lamb chops from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, lower the heat slightly, add another tablespoon of butter, minced garlic, and rosemary. Sauté until fragrant (about one minute).
- Return lamb chops to the skillet and spoon some of the garlic butter sauce over them. Cook for an additional two minutes while occasionally basting with sauce.
- Transfer cooked lamb chops to plates, drizzle with remaining sauce from the skillet, and finish with lemon juice.
