A delightful dessert combining fudgy brownies and chewy chocolate chip cookie dough.
Ingredients

- 95 g plain (all-purpose) flour
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 225 g dark chocolate (chopped)
- 56 g butter (salted or unsalted)
- 2 large eggs (room temperature)
- 100 g caster or granulated sugar
- 90 g Demerara or raw sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 85 g dark or milk chocolate chips
Instructions
- Melt 225g chopped dark chocolate and 56g butter together until smooth. Set aside to cool slightly.
- In a bowl, whisk together 2 room temperature eggs, 100g caster sugar, 90g Demerara sugar, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Gradually whisk in the cooled chocolate mixture.
- Sift 95g plain flour over the brownie batter and gently fold until just combined. Do not overmix.
- In a separate bowl, combine 95g plain flour, 2 tablespoons cocoa powder, 1 teaspoon baking powder, and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Stir in 85g dark or milk chocolate chips.
- Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F). Pour brownie batter into a greased and lined 8×8 inch pan. Dollop cookie dough mixture over the brownie batter and swirl gently. Bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs. Cool completely before cutting.
