Description
This French Toast Bites recipe is a fun, bite-sized twist on a breakfast classic. Soft bread cubes are dipped in a sweet cinnamon-vanilla custard, then cooked until golden and crisp on the outside, fluffy on the inside.

- 4 large eggs
- ½ cup whole milk
- ¼ cup heavy cream

- 4 –5 thick slices of brioche or challah bread (cut into 1-inch cubes)
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter (for cooking)
- Optional toppings: powdered sugar, maple syrup, cinnamon sugar, or whipped cream
Instructions
- In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, cream, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt until smooth.
- Add the bread cubes into the mixture and gently toss to coat. Let them soak for about 2–3 minutes.
- Melt the butter in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat.
- Place the soaked bread cubes in a single layer in the pan. Cook for about 1–2 minutes per side until golden brown and slightly crisp.
- Transfer the French Toast Bites to a plate. Dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with maple syrup.
