- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs (room temperature)
- 1 cup eggnog
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 3 tbsp milk (or eggnog for added flavor)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a bundt pan thoroughly with non-stick cooking spray or butter.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, nutmeg, cinnamon, and sugar until well combined.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs and softened butter until creamy. Gradually add in eggnog while whisking until smooth.
- Slowly fold the wet mixture into the dry ingredients using a spatula until just combined. Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.
- In a bowl, mix powdered sugar with milk (or eggnog) until smooth. Adjust consistency by adding more liquid if necessary.
- Once the cake has cooled completely, drizzle generously with glaze before serving.
