- 2 Large eggs
- 2 Bread slices (whole wheat or white)
- 1 tbsp Butter or oil
- 1 Cheese slice
- 2–3 Tomato slices
- 2 Lettuce leaves
- 1 tbsp Mayonnaise
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Toast your bread slices to your preference.
- Fry or scramble the eggs. For a fried egg sandwich, cook the eggs in butter or oil until the whites are set and the yolks are cooked to your liking. Season with salt and pepper.
- If making a scrambled egg sandwich, whisk the eggs with a pinch of salt and pepper, then cook in butter or oil, stirring gently until cooked through.
- Lightly spread mayonnaise on the inside of both toasted bread slices.
- Place lettuce leaves and tomato slices on the bottom slice of bread.
