Ingredients

Instructions
- Warm the milk slightly and stir in the yeast with a teaspoon of sugar. Let it sit until foamy.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine sourdough discard, sugar, egg, melted butter, and the milk yeast mixture. Mix until smooth.
- Add flour and salt gradually, mixing until a soft dough forms.
- Knead for about ten minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise until doubled in size.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a large rectangle.
- Spread softened butter evenly across the dough.
- Mix brown sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle this mixture generously over the buttered dough.
- Roll the dough tightly into a log and cut it into equal sized rolls.
- Place the rolls in a greased baking dish, leaving a little space between each.
- Cover and let them rise again until puffy.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for about twenty five to thirty minutes until golden brown.
- While the rolls bake, prepare the frosting by beating cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Spread over warm rolls before serving.
