Ingredients
- Sliced frozen bananas
- Frozen or fresh berries, mangos or peaches
- Peanut butter
- Cocoa powder
- Protein powder
- Cinnamon
- Vanilla extract
- Honey
Instructions
- Place sliced frozen bananas into a high quality blender or food processor and blend until smooth, scraping the sides as needed.
- If needed, add 1-2 tbsps of liquid like water, juice, or milk to help blend.
- Add other frozen or fresh fruits to the blender.
- Add peanut butter and cocoa powder for a chocolate flavor.
- Mix in cinnamon, vanilla extract, honey, or maple syrup if desired.
- Blend until the texture is thick and frosty, then enjoy immediately.
- For a firmer texture, freeze the mixture for about an hour.
- To serve later, cover and freeze, then thaw on the counter for about 30 minutes before serving.
