Better-Than-Crumbl Red Velvet Cookie Magic
Ingredients

- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- 2 tablespoons red food coloring
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup Dutch processed cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Cream the butter and sugars together in a large bowl for 2-3 minutes until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg, white vinegar, red food coloring, and vanilla extract.
- Mix dry ingredients in a separate bowl.
- Gradually add dry ingredients into your wet ingredients until just combined.
- Chill the dough for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.
- Scoop the dough by forming 3-tablespoon balls of chilled dough.
- Let the cookies cool completely.
- Prepare the frosting by transferring it to a piping bag and creating swirls.
