Instructions

  1. Cream the butter and sugars together in a large bowl for 2-3 minutes until light and fluffy.
  2. Add the egg, white vinegar, red food coloring, and vanilla extract.
  3. Mix dry ingredients in a separate bowl.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients into your wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Chill the dough for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.
  6. Scoop the dough by forming 3-tablespoon balls of chilled dough.
  7. Let the cookies cool completely.
  8. Prepare the frosting by transferring it to a piping bag and creating swirls.
