- 16 oz cream cheese, cubed
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 4 – 6 fresh jalapeños, seeded and finely diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 8 slices bacon, chopped and cooked until crispy
- Extra crispy bacon for garnish
- Sliced jalapeños
- Green onions
- Crackers, tortilla chips, toasted baguette
Instructions
- Cook the chopped bacon in a skillet over medium heat until deeply crispy. Drain on paper towels and set aside.
- Add cream cheese, sour cream, cheddar, mozzarella, diced jalapeños, garlic, onion powder, salt, and pepper into the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 2 hours, stirring every 30–40 minutes until fully melted and smooth.
- Once the dip is creamy and hot, fold in about ¾ of the crispy bacon. Reserve the remaining bacon for topping.
- Transfer to a serving bowl or keep warm in the slow cooker.
- Top with extra bacon, sliced jalapeños, and green onions.
- Serve warm with chips, crackers, or bread.
