Description

This crockpot beer cheese dip is rich, creamy, and packed with cozy flavor, all made right in the slow cooker.


Ingredients

  • 16 ounces cream cheese, cubed and softened
  • 3 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • ¾ cup beer (lager or ale)
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Scallions and crumbled bacon for topping

Instructions

  1. Place the cream cheese in the slow cooker.
  2. Top with the shredded cheeses.
  3. Pour in the beer, then stir in the Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 2 to 3 hours or on high for 1 to 1½ hours, stirring every 30 minutes, until smooth and fully melted.
  5. Give it a final stir before serving and switch the slow cooker to warm.
