- 1.5 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1.5 cups grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 12 ounces uncooked pasta (fettuccine, penne, or rotini)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crock pot. Season with salt and pepper. Add garlic, chicken broth, and butter.
- Cook on low for 4 to 5 hours, or until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
- Shred the chicken with two forks directly in the crock pot.
- Stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until smooth and creamy.
- Add the uncooked pasta and broccoli. Stir to submerge pasta into the sauce.
- Cook for another 30 to 45 minutes, or until pasta is al dente and broccoli is tender.
- Stir well and taste. Adjust seasoning as needed. Serve hot.
