Description

These Crispy Tofu Lettuce Wraps are light, crunchy, and packed with flavor. With golden tofu, fresh veggies, and a creamy peanut-lime drizzle, they’re the perfect plant-based lunch or appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 1 block (14 oz) firm tofu, pressed and cubed
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or neutral oil
  • 810 butter lettuce leaves
  • 1 medium carrot, julienned
  • 34 radishes, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • Handful of fresh cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha or chili paste (optional)
  • 12 tablespoons warm water, to thin

Instructions

  1. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Toss tofu with soy sauce and cornstarch until coated.
  3. Add oil to the pan and cook tofu until golden and crispy on all sides, about 3–4 minutes per side.
  4. While tofu cooks, prepare the sauce by whisking together peanut butter, soy sauce, lime juice, maple syrup, sriracha, and warm water until smooth.
  5. Lay out lettuce leaves and fill each with tofu, carrots, radishes, cabbage, green onions, and cilantro.
  6. Drizzle generously with sauce and serve immediately.
