Description
Crispy Bang Bang Cauliflower Bites are golden, crunchy, and coated in a creamy, sweet and spicy sauce that makes them irresistible. Perfect as an appetizer, party snack, or fun vegetarian main dish.

- 1 medium head cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 3/4 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
- 1 1/2 cups panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
- 1–2 tablespoons sriracha or hot sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon lime juice
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) or air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Add milk and whisk until smooth. Place panko in a separate bowl.
- Dip cauliflower florets into the batter, then coat in panko. Arrange on a parchment-lined baking sheet or in an air fryer basket.
- Bake for 25 minutes or air fry for 15–18 minutes until golden and crispy.
- In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice to make the bang bang sauce.
- Toss crispy cauliflower bites in sauce just before serving or drizzle over the top.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and serve immediately.
Notes
- Adjust the spiciness by varying the amount of sriracha.
- Serve with extra sauce on the side for dipping.
