- 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 each)
- 2 sticks butter (Melted, for the sauce and greasing)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon (Or to taste)
- 1 can 7-Up (12 oz)
- 2 large Granny Smith apples, peeled and cored
- 1.5 cups brown sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Wash, peel, and core the Granny Smith apples.
- Cut each apple into eight equal slices.
- Carefully unwrap the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
- Place a slice of apple on the wider side of each dough triangle and roll tightly.
- Grease a 13 x 9-inch baking dish with butter.
- Arrange the rolled dumplings in a single layer in the baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter, cinnamon, brown sugar, and vanilla. Stir until smooth.
- Pour the sauce over the arranged dumplings.
- Pour the 7-Up around the dumplings.
- Bake for 35-45 minutes until the crescents are golden and the apples are tender.
