  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 each)
  • 2 sticks butter (Melted, for the sauce and greasing)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon (Or to taste)
  • 1 can 7-Up (12 oz)
  • 2 large Granny Smith apples, peeled and cored
  • 1.5 cups brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Wash, peel, and core the Granny Smith apples.
  3. Cut each apple into eight equal slices.
  4. Carefully unwrap the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  5. Place a slice of apple on the wider side of each dough triangle and roll tightly.
  6. Grease a 13 x 9-inch baking dish with butter.
  7. Arrange the rolled dumplings in a single layer in the baking dish.
  8. In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter, cinnamon, brown sugar, and vanilla. Stir until smooth.
  9. Pour the sauce over the arranged dumplings.
  10. Pour the 7-Up around the dumplings.
  11. Bake for 35-45 minutes until the crescents are golden and the apples are tender.
