This easy coffee ice cubes recipe helps you make bold, flavorful coffee ice cubes that keep your drinks strong and never diluted.
Ingredients

- 2 to 3 cups freshly brewed coffee (strong brew works best)
- 1–2 tablespoons sugar (optional)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- 1 tablespoon milk or cream (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare 2 to 3 cups of coffee using a drip machine, French press, pour-over, or espresso diluted with water. Brew slightly stronger than usual.
- Allow the brewed coffee to cool to room temperature. Place in the refrigerator for 20 to 30 minutes if needed.
- Stir sugar into the warm coffee until fully dissolved if sweetened cubes are desired. Mix in vanilla extract or milk or cream for added richness.
- Carefully pour the cooled coffee into a clean ice cube tray without overfilling.
- Transfer the tray to the freezer and freeze for at least 4 to 6 hours or until completely solid.
- Remove frozen cubes from the tray and place them in a freezer-safe bag or airtight container.
Notes
- Overnight freezing provides best results.
- Store in the freezer to prevent absorption of odors.
