- 3 large eggs, separated
- 3 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar (optional, for a hint of sweetness)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Carefully separate the egg whites from the yolks. Place the whites in a clean, dry bowl.
- In a separate bowl, blend the egg yolks with softened cream cheese, salt, and sugar if using. Mix until smooth and creamy.
- Add cream of tartar to the egg whites. Beat with a mixer until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the egg yolk mixture into the whipped egg whites.
- Spoon the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, forming small round mounds.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the tops are lightly golden.
- Allow the bread to cool for a few minutes before removing from the tray.
