- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ cup butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup cinnamon-sugar mixture for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan with butter or cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, combine the dry ingredients: all-purpose flour, baking powder, cinnamon, sugar, and salt. Mix well.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients: eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until a soft dough forms.
- Pour the dough into the prepared loaf pan, spreading it evenly.
- In a small bowl, mix together more cinnamon and sugar for the topping. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the top of the dough.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
