- 1 cup brown sugar
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1½ tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tbsp melted butter
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1–2 tbsp milk or cream
- ¼ tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment.
- Make blondie batter: In a bowl, mix melted butter and brown sugar. Stir in egg and vanilla. Add flour and salt, mixing just until combined. Spread into the baking dish.
- Add swirl: Mix swirl ingredients in a small bowl. Drop spoonfuls over the batter and swirl gently with a knife or toothpick.
- Bake: Bake for 22–25 minutes, until golden and set at the edges but soft in the center. Cool completely.
- Glaze: Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla. Drizzle over cooled blondies. Let set before slicing.
