Description
This festive Christmas slice is a no-bake treat combining a rich cocoa and butter biscuit base with a smooth white chocolate peppermint topping.

- 250g butter
- ¼ cup cocoa
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup milk
- 2 packets (250g each) Marie or wine biscuits, crushed
- 190g white chocolate
- 1 Tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp peppermint essence
- 100g Christmas M&Ms
- 4 candy canes, crushed
Instructions
- Line a slice tin approximately 19 x 29 cm with baking paper.
- Melt the butter, cocoa, and brown sugar in a saucepan over low heat, stirring frequently.
- Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and milk.
- Combine the crushed biscuits with the chocolate mixture in a large mixing bowl.
- Transfer the mixture into the lined slice tin and press down firmly.
- Microwave white chocolate, vegetable oil, and peppermint essence in a glass bowl until melted.
- Pour the melted mixture over the biscuit base and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle crushed candy canes and Christmas M&Ms on top.
- Chill in the fridge for at least 4 hours until firm.
- Take the slice out 20 minutes before slicing.

- Ensure biscuits are not crushed too finely.
- Use festive M&Ms for a colorful touch.
