A bright, bubbly, and festive cocktail punch perfect for Christmas morning, balancing tart cranberries, sweet orange, and warming spices. Easy to make and customizable for both adults and kids.

- 4 cups (950 ml) cranberry juice (100% juice, no added sugar)
- 2 cups (475 ml) fresh orange juice
- 2 cups (475 ml) ginger ale
- 1 ½ cups (360 ml) spiced rum (optional)
- 6–8 whole cloves
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1 cup (100 g) fresh cranberries
- 1 medium orange, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) maple syrup or honey
Instructions
- Drop the whole cloves and cinnamon sticks into your punch bowl or pitcher. Add the fresh cranberries and orange slices to let the flavors mingle and create a festive look.
- If using fresh oranges, juice them to get about 2 cups (475 ml) of juice. Rolling the oranges on the counter before juicing helps extract more juice.
- Pour in the cranberry juice, fresh orange juice, and maple syrup or honey. Stir gently with a wooden or silicone spoon until the sweetener dissolves completely.
- If using, add the spiced rum and mix gently again.
- Just before serving, pour in the ginger ale to keep the punch bubbly. Stir lightly to preserve the fizz.
- Chill the punch in the fridge for 30 minutes if possible, or serve immediately over plenty of ice. Garnish each glass with extra cranberries and a cinnamon stick.
Notes
- This punch is customizable for both adults and kids by adjusting the amount of spiced rum.
