Delightful Christmas Dirt Cake
Ingredients

- 15 chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
- 1 (3.4 oz) package instant vanilla pudding mix
- 2 cups whole milk (or almond/oat milk)
- 1 cup whipped topping (store-bought or homemade)
- Reserved cookie crumbs (about 1 cup)
- Candy worms (optional)
Instructions
- In a resealable plastic bag, crush the chocolate sandwich cookies into fine crumbs using a rolling pin.
- In a bowl, mix the crushed cookies with softened butter until well combined.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and milk until thickened, about 5 minutes.
- Gently fold half of the whipped topping into the pudding mixture until fully incorporated.
- In a trifle dish or individual cups, start with a layer of the crust mixture at the bottom.
- Add half of the pudding mixture on top of the crust.
- Repeat with another layer of crust followed by the remaining pudding mixture.
- Finish with another layer of cookie crumbs on top and add candy worms if desired.
- Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight for best results.
