Ingredients

  • 15 chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 (3.4 oz) package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups whole milk (or almond/oat milk)
  • 1 cup whipped topping (store-bought or homemade)
  • Reserved cookie crumbs (about 1 cup)
  • Candy worms (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a resealable plastic bag, crush the chocolate sandwich cookies into fine crumbs using a rolling pin.
  2. In a bowl, mix the crushed cookies with softened butter until well combined.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and milk until thickened, about 5 minutes.
  4. Gently fold half of the whipped topping into the pudding mixture until fully incorporated.
  5. In a trifle dish or individual cups, start with a layer of the crust mixture at the bottom.
  6. Add half of the pudding mixture on top of the crust.
  7. Repeat with another layer of crust followed by the remaining pudding mixture.
  8. Finish with another layer of cookie crumbs on top and add candy worms if desired.
  9. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight for best results.
