- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream butter, white sugar, and brown sugar for 2–3 minutes until smooth and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla. Mix until the batter is glossy.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture. Stir until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips using a spatula.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions onto prepared baking sheets. Leave space between cookies.
- Bake for 9–11 minutes, or until edges are golden and centers look slightly underbaked.
- Let cookies rest for 5 minutes on the baking sheet, then transfer to a wire rack to cool.
