Chocolate Cake with Condensed Milk A Rich and Moist Dessert

- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (for ganache)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream (for ganache)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking pan or two 9-inch round cake pans.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
- In another bowl, combine the melted butter, sweetened condensed milk, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; a few lumps are okay.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan(s) and spread it evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Once baked, remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes.
- Transfer the cake to a wire rack to cool completely.
- In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it begins to simmer.
- Remove from heat and pour over the chocolate chips in a bowl. Let it sit for about 5 minutes to melt the chocolate.
- Stir until smooth and glossy. Allow the ganache to cool slightly before pouring over the cooled cake.
- Once the cake is completely cooled, pour the chocolate ganache over the top, allowing it to drip down the sides if desired.
- Let the ganache set for a few minutes before slicing.
