Description

Crispy wonton cups filled with juicy shrimp glazed in a sweet and tangy chili lime sauce.


Ingredients

  • 2024 wonton wrappers
  • 1 pound raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 12 teaspoons sriracha or chili paste (optional)
  • 23 green onions, thinly sliced (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a mini muffin tin.
  2. In a bowl, toss shrimp with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together sweet chili sauce, lime juice, honey, and sriracha if using.
  4. Press wonton wrappers into muffin tin cups and spray or brush with oil.
  5. Bake wonton wrappers for 8–10 minutes until golden and crispy.
  6. Sauté or roast shrimp for 5–6 minutes until pink and fully cooked.
  7. Toss cooked shrimp in the chili lime sauce until well coated.
  8. Place one shrimp into each wonton cup, drizzle with extra sauce, and garnish with sliced green onions.
