Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of cooked chicken, 2 cups of marinara sauce, 1 cup of cooked pasta, 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese, 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese, 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning, 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder, and salt and pepper to taste. Mix until well combined.
- Transfer the chicken mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- In a small bowl, combine 1 cup of breadcrumbs, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, and 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese. Mix until the breadcrumbs are evenly coated with oil.
- Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the chicken mixture in the baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the topping is golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley if desired.
Notes
- This casserole can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
- You can use leftover rotisserie chicken for convenience.
