  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder: For extra flavor.
  • Salt and pepper: To taste.
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs: For a crispy topping.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil: To help brown the breadcrumbs.
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese: For flavor.

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of cooked chicken, 2 cups of marinara sauce, 1 cup of cooked pasta, 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese, 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese, 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning, 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder, and salt and pepper to taste. Mix until well combined.
  3. Transfer the chicken mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  4. In a small bowl, combine 1 cup of breadcrumbs, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, and 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese. Mix until the breadcrumbs are evenly coated with oil.
  5. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the chicken mixture in the baking dish.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the topping is golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley if desired.
