- ½ cup hot pepper sauce
- 1 cup reduced-fat sour cream
- ½ cup ketchup
- ¼ cup honey
- ¼ teaspoon paprika
- ¼ teaspoon cumin
- 8 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
- ¼ cup vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together hot pepper sauce, sour cream, ketchup, and honey until smooth. Season with paprika and cumin.
- Set aside half of the sauce for serving later. Add chicken breasts to the remaining sauce, coating well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and cook briefly until fragrant.
- Add marinated chicken breasts to the skillet and cook until browned on both sides and fully cooked through, about 20 minutes total.
- Meanwhile, bring the reserved sauce to a gentle boil in a small saucepan. Simmer for 3–5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Spoon the warm sauce over the cooked chicken just before serving.
