- 8 oz of your favorite pasta
- 2 cups of fresh broccoli florets
- 1 lb of diced chicken breast
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp of olive oil
- 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve about half a cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta.
- While pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add diced chicken breast and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Transfer chicken to a plate.
- In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add broccoli florets and sauté for 3-5 minutes until tender-crisp and vibrant.
- Return cooked chicken to the skillet with the broccoli and garlic. Add the drained pasta.
- Toss everything together, adding reserved pasta water a little at a time if needed. Sprinkle in Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper to taste. Toss until well combined and cheese is melted.
- Serve hot.
